A week before the new decree that established the crime of illegal immigration, I want to dwell on this law which, in my opinion, as well as in some parts proves to be unconstitutional, is a kind of sent a veiled xenophobia mixed with racist, commissioned by the center-right but also from the Northern League.
The most important new features are:
1) Countering illegal immigration
The law introduces a new offense entitled "illegal entry and residence in the State, through the inclusion of new art. 10-bis in the Consolidation Act on Immigration (Legislative Decree no. 286/98), which punishes by a fine of € 5,000 to € 10,000 which is an alien to enter or is illegally holding state.
2) The application and renewal of residence permit
